Job Description


Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic San Francisco team. In this role you will support a global technology client with data analytics and visualization for their real estate construction portfolio. This position requires strong analytical skills expertise in data analysis tools and the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather process and analyze data from various sources.
  • Work with internal teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights to support construction project management and decisionmaking.
  • Develop and maintain data models dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Perform benchmarking trend identification and growth forecasting.
  • Analyze project cost trends detect potential issues and identify ways to improve and streamline processes using software tools and automation.
  • Create and apply statistical models to predict project outcomes identify trends and optimize construction processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular data quality checks and implementing data governance practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend datadriven solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to endusers on new reports dashboards and data analysis tools.
  • Manage and mentor junior data analysts providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable. 

Project/Program Specifications:

  • Construction experience is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in SQL Python Tableau and Dashboard creation.
  • Ability to work in our San Francico office or onsite in Cupertino CA when required.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Expertise in using professional data analysis and visualization tools along with proficiency in programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with construction management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and standards.
  • Certification in data analysis or related fields.


Additional Information :


The salary range for this fulltime role is $110K$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
