You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Offset Press Supervisor to oversee our printing operations. This role requires an experienced press operator and/or supervisor with a strong background in offset printing press maintenance and quality control. The ideal candidate will lead a team of press operators ensure efficient production and maintain highquality printing standards while coordinating with other departments to meet deadlines and client expectations.
THE ROLE
HOURS: MondayFriday 4:30 pm 2:30 am. Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends.
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP: Supervise the operation of offset presses ensuring efficiency quality and safety. Oversee pressroom staff providing guidance training and performance feedback. Monitor production schedules and coordinate with prepress finishing and shipping departments to ensure timely job completion.
OVERSEE PRODUCTION: Set up and adjust printing presses for different jobs ensuring proper ink registration and color accuracy. Troubleshoot press issues perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary. Maintain quality control standards ensuring all printed materials meet client specifications. Optimize press run efficiency by reducing waste and improving setup times.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Implement and enforce safety regulations and best practices in the pressroom. Collaborate with management on workflow improvements cost reduction and new printing technologies. Maintain accurate records of press performance maintenance schedules and material usage.
Qualifications :
SKILLS: Proven track record of leading teams through accountability and recognition. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and print quality issues quickly. Strong quality control skills with an eye for color accuracy and print consistency. Strong understanding of pressroom safety and OSHA compliance.
ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Comfortable working hybrid hours with a mix of day/evening shifts and some remote coordination. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds. Standing bending and walking for extended periods. Comfortable working in a noisy rapidly evolving environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen physical assessments audio and color vision test.
