Job Description
Industrial Sanitation Crew 3rd Shift
Pay: $17.50/hr
Schedule: 3rd Shift SundayThursday 10 PM 6:30 AM (Friday morning)
Location: Food Manufacturing Facility near Downtown Grand Rapids
A fastpaced handson role with a small closeknit company that values its team like family. This position focuses on maintaining toptier cleanliness and food safety standards in an industrial food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize industrial production and packaging equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough sanitation
- Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines (SQF standards)
- Handle cleaning chemicals properly and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
Qualifications:
- Industrial sanitation experience is required (Janitorial or housekeeping experience does NOT qualify)
- Previous food manufacturing sanitation experience is preferred
- Comfortable working in a wet cold and fastpaced environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
