About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a focus on female participation.
- Plan and prepare highquality lessons that cater to a variety of sporting abilities and interests ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including fitness training team sports and individual activities to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and support individual development.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel PE examinations ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources with a focus on female participation.
- Foster a love of sports and physical activity in students encouraging them to develop their skills and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports activities and school teams particularly those focused on female participation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education.
- Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and ALevel PE examinations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate female students of all sporting abilities.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting female participation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
