Job Description

  • Health and Social Care Teacher required to start in September
  • Outstanding School in Reading
  • Excellent Health and Social Care teacher to join a highly successful and wellresourced department
  • Full time
  • MPS/UPS

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Social Care teacher to join an Outstanding school in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and KS5 on a fulltime basis. The department is wellresourced and led by a supportive and approachable head of department. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Experience and Qualifications:

  • Health and Social Care teacher to teach KS4 and KS5
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • A teaching qualification with QTS

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess and record student progress effectively
  • Manage the classroom and resources efficiently to create a safe stimulating learning environment
  • Maintain positive discipline and promote student wellbeing and achievement
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues parents and students ensuring clear communication channels

Salary:
The salary for this Health and Social Care teacher position will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS).
