About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven DEI Trainee Intern to support our Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives . This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience supporting DEI programs in a multicultural business environment .
Position Overview
The DEI Trainee Intern will work closely with global and regional DEI team to drive programs and initiatives that foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching and analyzing DEI best practices and trends across the world
- Monitor and report on regulatory practices and updates related to DEI in all countries
- Support the development and promotion of DEI training programs tailored to Konecranes cultural nuances and aligned with global initiatives
- Collaborate with regional People & Culture and Employee Resource Groups to identify and address diversity and inclusion gaps
- Help organize cultural celebration events speaker series and other DEIfocused activities
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling notetaking and presentation preparation
- Gather feedback and data to measure the impact of DEI initiatives
- Support the creation of internal communications to promote DEI initiatives
- Support diversity initiatives as needed
Location: Primary Singapore and any country in APAC
Qualifications :
- Currently in a university program related to human resources organizational behavior social sciences or a relevant field
- Could work 1516 hour per week with 6months commitment
- Strong interest and some prior exposure to diversity equity and inclusion practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency in utilizing power point and other communication tools to support DEI campaigns acting in social network etc.
- Excellent research and analysis skills
- Familiarity with the cultural nuances and business landscape
- Proficiency in English
- Proactive detailoriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
