Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) to work closely with one of our banking clients to deliver nextgeneration experiences for their Visa cardholders.
You will work in a customercentric agile delivery squad working with a range of business and technical stakeholders to deliver value for our clients customers. You will be one of four new squad members forming a third squad focused on digital delivery.
You will use your mobile development expertise to deliver modern mobile banking experiences to over 1 million users.
Team Summary
Visa Managed Services (VMS) is the delivery arm of the Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) team. Our teams are embedded virtually with clients; working on long termengagements delivering value through implementation and services.
You will use your technical delivery experience to help our client build the right thing the right way promote effective ways of working proactively manage risks and ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives.
What a Senior Software Engineer does at Visa:
The Senior Software Engineer contributes to the success of the team by:
- Working along the full lifecycle of iOS development from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Participating as a member of the clients iOS development practice ensuring features adhere to agreed standards and contributing reusable components where appropriate.
- Collaborating with design colleagues business and technical stakeholders to deliver highquality solutions that meet client and enduser needs.
- Developing software that conforms to Visa and our clients high standards of usability security and compliance.
- Work in a build it and run it environment where teams build deploy monitor and support the microservices that they own.
- Identifying opportunities for product innovation and improvements to best practices standards and processes.
- Communicating status issues and risks effectively and in a timely manner.
- Supporting test engineers and operational teams in troubleshooting defect research issue root cause analysis etc.

Qualifications :
- At least 6 years of experience in native iOS development experience (Swift).
- Knowledge of MVVM or MVP patterns both preferable.
- Automated UI test development experience.
- Experience building and maintaining infrastructure
- Deep understanding of the Xcode build system
- Experience designing and developing secure resilient and scalable solutions.
- Experience benchmarking and optimising the performance of mobile applications
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles.
