Job Description
Seeking a Head of Maintenance who thrives in dynamic environments brings proven leadership from highperformance teams and can confidently transition our maintenance operations from reactive to proactive. It is currently 60 reactive and 40 preventive. Goal is 20 reactive with 80 Purposeful PM work. Ideal candidate will have deep experience implementing preventive maintenance strategies driving cultural shifts and leading teams effectively in demanding operational settings qualities often honed through military service.
Your Mission:
Transition from Reactive to Proactive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance strategy to improve uptime and reliability.
Lead a team of three supervisors and 56 hourly maintenance technicians providing clear direction and mentorship to drive operational excellence.
Leadership and Culture Development:
Inspire cultural change toward proactive and preventive maintenance practices fostering ownership and continuous improvement.
Provide consistent feedback coaching and professional development opportunities creating an environment of accountability and high performance.
Operational Impact and Continuous Improvement:
Significantly reduce downtime emergency repairs and overall operational interruptions by deploying Smart Maintenance initiatives.
Utilize datadriven insights from SAP (FURI module) and Power BI dashboards to inform strategic decisions and track performance metrics.

Requirements
Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Proven leadership in maintenance or operational roles (military or civilian) demonstrating successful management of large teams.
Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data analytics and digital maintenance tools.
Comfort and proficiency using ERP systems such as SAP and reporting platforms like Power BI.
Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard. NCO/Supervisor who is a well-rounded technician. Will supervise one person and be hands on for now. Strong communications and ability to think outside the box.
