Job Description
Job Title: Data Scientist / Analytics Consultant
Location: 1305 West W.T. Harris Boulevard Charlotte NC 28262 (Hybrid) (or any hub location: Shoreview MN; West Des Moines IA; Chandler AZ; Irving TX; San Antonio TX; Salt Lake City UT)
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension/conversion
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Consultant with expertise in Python modeling machine learning and data analytics to support a highimpact project within the COO CEDA division. This role involves developing AIdriven analytical models building data pipelines and working on advanced analytics solutions to assist business partners across the organization.
Candidate should have:
- 7 years of experience in Analytics Data Science or a related field with handson experience in Python modeling.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Proficiency in Python SQL PySpark and H2O for data modeling and machine learning applications.
- Strong background in statistical modeling data engineering logistic regression and decision tree models.
Preferred:
- Background in automated model development platforms and cloudbased analytics.
- Prior experience in banking finance or regulatory environments (not required but a plus).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize data models using Python and PySpark to support machine learning and AI initiatives.
- Work with Natural Language Processing (NLP) Large Language Models (LLMs) logistic regression and decision tree models to create advanced analytical solutions.
- Build automated model development pipelines using tools like H2O and PySpark.
- Organize and analyze large datasets generate insights and provide datadriven recommendations.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data models.
- Present findings flag potential issues and communicate complex results in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure models are scalable and efficient handing them off to production teams for deployment.
- Use Power Apps and other tools to streamline workflows and enhance analytics capabilities.
- Take ownership of tasks drive initiatives forward and work as part of a crossfunctional team.
