As we enter a growth phase FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers of West Pearland is seeking an enthusiastic PartTime Client Care Specialist to join our team of professionals. Our Client Care Specialist will work closely with our clinical team coordinating patient care and providing exceptional customer service to new and existing clients. This role requires critical thinking skills detailoriented mindsets and a sincere desire to help our patients achieve positive lasting change. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Greet and direct patients and visitors
- Schedule and enter appointment dates and times into computerized scheduler
- Verify insurance benefits and track insurancecovered visits
- Work with the clinical team to obtain authorization as needed
- Record when appointments have been scheduled or canceled
- Upon patient cancellation contact scheduled therapist and advise of reason for cancellation indicate if patient has rescheduled. If waitlist opportunities are available refill the schedule with alternative patients
- Receive payments and register patients
- Phone text or email appointment reminders
- Answer phones and assist or direct callers to appropriate personnel
- Assist with other medical office needs
- Assist with marketing activities when needed
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid drivers license & reliable vehicle
- Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
- Ability to work Tuesday Wednesday & Friday from 8:30 AM5:00 PM
- Previous exposure to the field of physical therapy preferred
- Outgoing personality comfortable making cold calls to new patients
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Calm empathetic demeanor and excellent critical thinking skills
- Basic knowledge of program management systems spreadsheets and Internet software preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs and Google Workspace Suites required
- Ability to successfully relate work effectively and get along well with patients and colleagues
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a pleasant disposition who cares about others
- Ability to be on your feet and active for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
