Job Description
Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: 8225 Hacks Cross Rd Olive Branch MS 38654
Pay Rate : $35/hr on W2
Job Description :
- Mechanical Engineer with 35 Years Experience
- Hands on experience in Autodesk Inventor Vault & Enovia
- Experience in CAD conversion of PTO (Power Takeoff) assemblies & managing its revisions
- Experience in developing design concepts & performing tolerance stackup DFMEA DFMA
- Experience in handling PLM activities
- Percentage of time (should add up to 100 Detailed description of the Tasks performed
- 20 Requirement Gathering and Analysis Gather the product details bills of material required for the product implementation and study the product structures. Understanding the product functionality and document them for future reference. Gather the technical information like gear ratio details fitment & functional. Coordination with the offshore team on assigned tasks
- 50 Application production and support Create the data in Enovia PLM tool as per the requirements to implement the products production. Scope up the project in terms of design Reverse Engineering or Value Analysis. Conduct the feasibility study in terms of design & manufacturability. Understand the product safety regulations.
- 15 Major/Minor Enhancements Cross check the work done onsite and offshore and improve the process for smooth implementation of a product to production. Quality checking for the offshore deliverables with Check lists.
- 10 Stabilization Activities for program Perform the engineering calculations for new designs. Generate feasible ideas for new concepts. Post implementation review and addressing of issues to stabilize and improve the Production system. Primary escalation points of contact the team for technical design and review.
- 5 Preparation for Technical/Business reports Create and maintain documentation of the solution best practices SOPs and knowledge transfer via weekly/biweekly meetings. Liaison with various SMES vendors forums risk and technology personnel
