Job Description
What will you be doing
ALTEN Ltd partners with global automotive leaders providing toptier engineering expertise in electrification powertrain development and battery technology.
We are seeking a Battery Test Engineer to support the validation and testing of highvoltage battery packs ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and execute battery pack module and celllevel testing.
- Develop test procedures and validation plans for thermal electrical and mechanical performance.
- Conduct electrical characterization charge/discharge cycling and durability testing.
- Analyze test data identify failure modes and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Who are we looking for
- Collaborate with battery systems BMS and thermal management engineers to optimize performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations (ISO 26262 UN38.3 IEC 62660 LV123.
- Strong understanding of battery safety thermal management and failure analysis.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Electrical Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in battery testing validation and highvoltage systems.
- Proficiency in test equipment and data acquisition tools (e.g. CANalyzer Vector CANoe NI LabVIEW).
- Familiarity with BMS (Battery Management Systems) and battery pack architecture.
