Psychology Teacher Fulltime Permanent (September 2025 Start)
Are you a knowledgeable and engaging Psychology Teacher eager to inspire young minds in a dedicated sixth form college in Hillingdon We are seeking a passionate educator to join our Psychology department starting September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to specialize in ALevel Psychology and contribute to the academic success of our students.

About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging ALevel Psychology lessons following relevant examination specifications.
- Plan and prepare highquality lessons that cater to the needs of ALevel students.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including research studies debates and interactive activities to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and support individual learning journeys.
- Prepare students for ALevel Psychology examinations ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and resources.
- Foster a love of psychology in students encouraging them to develop their critical thinking and research skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to psychology and research.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology.
- Demonstrated ability to teach ALevel Psychology.
- Experience in preparing students for ALevel Psychology examinations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and research skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate ALevel students.
- A passion for psychology and a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
