About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 following relevant examination specifications.
- Plan and prepare highquality lessons that cater to the needs of academically gifted students.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources including economic data analysis debates and research projects to enhance student learning.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and support individual learning journeys.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel Economics examinations ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria.
- Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and resources.
- Foster a passion for economics in students encouraging them to develop their analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to economics and current affairs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics particularly at ALevel.
- Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and ALevel Economics examinations.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate academically gifted students.
- A passion for economics and a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
