About the Role:
This Art Teacher position compensated on the MPS/UPS scale involves:
- Delivering dynamic and engaging Art lessons across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and potentially Key Stage 5.
- Teaching a diverse range of artistic disciplines which may include painting drawing sculpture printmaking photography and digital art.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to experiment and express themselves.
- Developing students technical skills critical thinking and understanding of art history and contemporary art practices.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Teaching in an Outstanding school.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Art Teacher with QTS.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for art and a breadth of artistic skills.
- Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication organizational and classroom management skills.
- A great Art Teacher.
