Your Role as an English ECT
As a member of the English faculty you will be expected to:
- Deliver engaging thoughtprovoking and academically rigorous English Literature and Language lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Encourage independent thinking and critical analysis fostering a love for literature and the English language.
- Differentiate instruction to support a diverse range of learners ensuring that all students are challenged appropriately.
- Take part in scholarly and extracurricular activities including debating societies literary clubs and school productions.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues and participate in a structured induction programme receiving ongoing professional development.
