Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant
Facility: San Marino Retirement Community
Address: 5000 W 75th Ave Westminster CO 80030 United States
Contract: Permanent
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Salary Range: $31.21/hr $33.27/hr (based on experience)
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) youll work closely with licensed occupational therapists to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your role will be essential in assisting with therapy treatments and creating a positive experience for those in your care.
Responsibilities:- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the occupational therapist.
- Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to support daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Ensure a safe and encouraging therapy environment.
- Active Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license.
- Associates degree from an accredited OTA program.
- 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing rehab or geriatric setting.
