Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our fastpaced Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and adaptable tech with expertise in angioplasty TAVR Watchman peripheral vascular EP and carotid procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working extended hours based on case demand and participating in a rotational oncall schedule 14 days in a 6week period).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including angioplasty TAVR Watchman carotid interventions and electrophysiology studies (EP)
- Prepare and operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Monitor and document cases using EPIC and MERGE systems
- Ensure patient safety proper positioning and radiation protection during procedures
- Support physicians and nurses in highacuity cases maintaining sterile techniques
- Participate in rotational oncall coverage for emergency procedures
- Active Cath Lab Tech License/Certification in IL (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- EPIC & MERGE Experience (Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (Required)
- Ability to handle highpressure fastpaced environments
- Flexibility with extended hours and required call shifts
