Your Job
As a driver you will be at the forefront of our company delivering plastic pipes and associated goods to customers in Berkhamsted and the surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficient & Safe Operation: Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.
- Timely Deliveries: Strive to complete orders on time for JDP customers.
- Compliance: Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
Qualifications :
Required:
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Minimum Class C Licence: Essential for operating our vehicles.
- Driver CPC card: Essential.
- Digital Tacho Card: Essential for compliance.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety.
- Driver Procedures: Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.
- Route Planning: Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable:
- Forklift Truck Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
