Job Description
EARTHRES a Division of RESPEC seeks a field scientist to assist with our AML and CQA projects throughout West Virginia Ohio Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Primary activities include:
- Conduct geologic hydrogeologic and environmental investigations.
- Perform field sampling of water soil and materials.
- Analyze evaluate and interpret subsurface data including soil and groundwater characteristics.
- Oversee and assist in soil and rock classification during drilling projects.
- Provide construction quality assurance (CQA) observations for various construction projects. (all sectors/project types)
- Support geologic and engineering tasks in the office including data analysis and report preparation.
- Develop your technical knowledge through diverse project experience across multiple industries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Expand your expertise by working on projects in the energy mining industrial and environmental sectors.

Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelors degree in Geology Civil or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
- 03 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills selfmotivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to perform fieldwork yearround potentially for extended durations.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Experience with CADD ArcGIS or boring log software (e.g. gINT) is a plus.
