We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director/Partner Audit: Insurance and Pension to join our prestigious firm in Amsterdam Netherlands. In this pivotal leadership role you will spearhead our audit services for insurance and pension clients driving excellence and innovation in our practices.
- Lead and oversee complex audit engagements for major insurance companies and pension funds
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our audit services in the insurance and pension sectors
- Provide expert advice to clients on regulatory compliance risk management and financial reporting
- Mentor and develop audit teams fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and regulatory changes in the insurance and pension industries
- Collaborate with other partners to drive firmwide initiatives and business development efforts
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and integrity in all audit engagements
- Contribute to thought leadership through publications speaking engagements and industry forums
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA CA or equivalent) is required
- Additional certifications in insurance or pension auditing are highly desirable
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit with a significant focus on the insurance and pension sectors
- Proven track record of leading largescale complex audit engagements
- Extensive experience in partnerlevel responsibilities and client relationship management
- Indepth knowledge of insurance and pension industry regulations including both local and international standards
- Strong understanding of actuarial concepts and practices
- Expertise in advanced auditing techniques risk assessment and management
- Proficiency in financial reporting standards (IFRS US GAAP) and their application to insurance and pension entities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop highperforming teams
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients regulators and team members
- Proficiency in data analytics and relevant technology tools used in modern audit practices
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
