Job Description
The Class is seeking a Senior Designer to join our team as we elevate and grow the brand globally. This pivotal creative role will lead design projects from concept to . Working directly with the Founder to translate root and enhance a thoughtful curated brand viz ID across all channels and formats from web and social to art direction and and instudio. The Senior Designer will collaborate across teams working daily with Marketing Product Experience and Production to deliver design assets across a widevariety of organizational objectives while maintaining exceptional quality and brand consistency. The ideal candidate is a talented handson gogetter who has a blend of creative vision technical expertise and passion for creating excellent design. This role is a perfectfit for an experienced designer who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities while continuing to push creative boundaries through their own designs.
What youll do:
Establish and maintain a clear thoughtful consistent visual language that aligns with the brands identity and positioning.
Lead all design projects from ideation and concept development through asset creation and design .
Create design assets to serve a widevariety of business needs across digital product ad social print and other experiential platforms from daytoday asset creation to larger creative endeavors.
Work closely with the VP of Digital Marketing and VP of Product to understand project requirements and efficiently deliver highquality creative solutions.
Partner with the Director of Project Management to establish project timelines allocate design resources effectively and ensure deadlines are met aligned to overall organizational priorities.
Develop design templates and selfservice tools for routine creative requests to empower stakeholders across the business to effectively create routine assets within brand guidelines.
Who you are:
You are an exceptional visual storyteller and handson designer with deep skills in typography color theory and graphic design.
Youre a skilled communicator and team player with the ability to inspire others and communicate ideas effectively.
You understand how to analyze business needs and translate them into compelling visual solutions.
You are creative spy and resourceful capable of working with agility and discretion to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
A selfstarter who is obsessed with excellent design excited to grow a global brand and excited to balance active designing with creative conception.
Ability to work from the NYC office at least 3 days a week
Qualifications :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or a similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across different mediums. Applications without portfolio links will not be considered.
A highlevel of proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
Experience working in fastpaced founderled digitallynative startup environments.
Familiarity with project planning and project management software such as Asana and Miro is a plus.
Familiarity with webbased tools (Figma Sanity Shopify Klaviyo) a plus.
Video and photo production and editing experience is a plus.
Additional Information :
The approximate salary range for this position is $80000$110000. The exact salary offered may vary based on jobrelated factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to: skill set experience education and training business needs and market demands.
