For a strategic industrial project in Corsica we are hiring on behalf of a leading client in the Oil & Energy sector a Mechanical Engineer.
Tasks
- Design develop and optimize mechanical equipment and production systems in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the technical followup of manufacturing and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Analyze mechanical thermal and structural constraints to ensure reliability and performance.
- Participate in supplier evaluations and the selection of materials and components.
- Ensure compliance of equipment and installations with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering construction and maintenance teams to implement effective mechanical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide support during commissioning and operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within industrial projects preferably in the Oil & Energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME API ISO).
- Proficiency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD SolidWorks Ansys or equivalents).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
