Job Description

We are looking for aProject Engineerspecialized in municipal water and wastewater treatment to join our water team and work with our fastgrowing multidisciplinary Infrastructure team on a wide variety of projects in Ontario including water and wastewater treatment pumping storage and distribution. 

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours working from home and in ourMississauga Kitchener or Londonoffice. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Participate in all phases of project planning design construction and commissioning of municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. 
  • Be supported by technical experts from multiple disciplines in our Water group including structural electrical mechanical architectural and civil to successfully deliver projects. 
  • Manage project resources schedule budget quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA to meet client expectations. 
  • Prepare and supervise engineering studies environmental assessments reports calculations plans and contract documents cost estimates and construction documents. 
  • Liaise with clients consultants regulatory and utility agencies project stakeholders and contractors. 
  • Mentor other staff on fundamentals of project delivery and general project management skills. 
  • Assist with proposal preparation for water and wastewater treatment projects. 
  • Participate in site inspections for condition assessment and/or design purposes

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Chemical or Civil Engineering. 
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario. 
  • Minimum 57 years of directly applicable water and wastewater experience in working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles with a focus on GTA clients and/or Southwestern Ontario. 
  • Demonstrated success and expertise in water/wastewater treatment project planning and design including knowledge of unit process design and hydraulics. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. 
  • Valid G Drivers license
