Job Description

The Role:  We are seeking a Director/VP of Value Engineering to lead our valuebased engagement strategy ensuring customers realize the full potential of our platform. This is a highimpact strategic leadership role at the intersection of sales product marketing and customer success.  As Director/VP of Value Engineering you will be responsible for articulating and quantifying the business impact of Strategys solutions. You will work closely with Sales and crossfunctional teams to develop valuedriven sales strategies build compelling business cases and drive customer adoption and expansion.  

InOffice Position: At Strategy Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are inoffice days with Fridays as workfromhome. 

Your Focus: 

Customer Value Strategy &  

  • Own the endtoend customer value journey including initial engagement adoption expansion and renewal. 
  • Develop and refine value engineering methodologies to help prospects and customers understand the strategic impact of Strategys solutions. 
  • Support Sales in crafting and presenting ROIdriven business cases to help close deals and expand customer relationships. 
  • Define the sales process from the first call to closing the deal. 

Sales Enablement & GotoMarket Alignment 

  • Design launch and scale valuebased sales plays to drive consistency in how Strategys solutions are positioned across industries and segments. 
  • Build and maintain a structured library of valueselling assets including case studies ROI models industry benchmarks and business impact reports. 
  • Train and enable the sales team on valuebased selling methodologies equipping them with the tools to lead highimpact customer conversations. 
  • Align closely with Marketing Product and Customer Success to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer journey. 

Business Planning & Revenue Growth Strategy 

  • Spearhead the development of regional business plans working with sales leaders to define gotomarket strategies and frameworks. 
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for new customer acquisition and account expansion leveraging datadriven insights to guide sales efforts. 
  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of value engineering initiatives in driving revenue growth. 

New Logo Acquisition & Account Breakin Strategy 

  • Develop a portfolio of solutions tailored for new customer acquisition ensuring sales teams have multiple valuedriven entry points. 
  • Partner with the new logo team to refine the accountbased sales strategy ensuring a structured and repeatable approach to acquiring new customers. 
  • Capture and drive action items poststrategy sessions ensuring alignment and on key account pursuits. 

Team Leadership & CrossFunctional Collaboration 

  • Rally internal teams around valuedriven selling ensuring a customercentric mindset across all gotomarket functions. 


Qualifications :

  • ValueBased Selling Expertise: Strong background in value engineering consultative sales or strategic business consulting within a software company. 
  • Executive Presence: Experience engaging and presenting to Clevel executives articulating the business impact of technology solutions. 
  • Process Optimization & GTM Strategy: Ability to design and implement valuebased sales plays business plans and accountbased strategies. 
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Comfortable working across Sales Marketing Product and Customer Success to drive gotomarket alignment. 
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to build and communicate datadriven ROI models business cases and strategic roadmaps. 
  • Enterprise Software Experience: Deep understanding of B2B software sales cycles and industry trends. 
  • Project Management: Strong ability to scope plan and execute largescale gotomarket programs with measurable impact.
