Job Description
We are looking for Operator/Maintainer to join our Geraldton team on a permanent fulltime basis. The role involves expert maintenance services while operating and maintaining both fixed and mobile plant equipment as needed (inclusive of unloading trucks).
This job is crucial to ensuring the efficient and safe operation of plant equipment.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Proven experience as a Fixed Plant Operator Maintainer.
- Familiarity with plant maintenance and ore stockpile management.
- Mechanically minded with a strong ambition to learn new skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to work across both day and night shifts as required.
- Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations. Good recordkeeping is essential for compliance purposes.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Geraldton working 12 hour shifts on a 4/4/4 roster.
Qualifications :
- Valid and current license.
- Relevant VOCs for other machinery operation.
- C class drivers license
- First aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Confined space certification
- Forklift certified
- Working at heights trained
