Job Description
The AmaliTech Training Programme is a comprehensive I.T./digital skills initiative that prepares participants for successful careers in the technology industry. Designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and workplace skills the programme is tailored for recent graduates in Ghana who have completed their mandatory national service within the past two 2 years.
The training includes a foundational curriculum that strengthens participants understanding of core Java concepts data structures algorithms and software testing principles. The advanced phase dives into performance security and automation testing equipping participants to ensure the quality and reliability of complex software systems.
Programme Details
- Duration: 8 months (April 2025 November 2025.
- Schedule: Fulltime Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 1hour break).
- Delivery mode: Onsite Kumasi
- Structure: on the average:
- Instructorled sessions: 3 hours/day.
- Selfpaced learning: 3.5 hours/day.
- Project work: 2 hours/day.
- Certification: Participants receive a certificate of participation upon successful completion of the programme.
PostTraining Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the programme and the capstone project:
- Successful Candidates will be directly employed by AmaliTech in a rewarding long term career opportunity in the IT landscape.
- Candidates are also free to pursue opportunities with other organisations.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Option 1: A tertiary degree or HND in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Information Technology with at least one year of experience in software engineering or testing.
OR
- Option 2: Any other tertiary degree or diploma with at least two years of experience in software testing.
Skills and Experience:
- Option 1:
- Proficiency in an OOP language such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with software engineering or testing methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Experience with testing tools like Selenium JUnit or Cypress is a plus.
OR
- Option 2:
- Experience with an OOP language such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with software engineering or testing methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Demonstrable knowledge of QA processes and best practices supported by a portfolio online courses or certifications.
Additional Information :
Logistics
- Location: Kumasi.
- Stipend: Participants receive a generous monthly stipend to support their living expenses during the training.
- Accommodation & Transport: No direct accommodation or transport support is provided.
Additional Requirements
- Technology: Participants must have access to a laptop and required software. Details of specific requirements will be communicated prior to the start of training.
- Assessment Process:
