Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Test Analyst (Senior) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation.

POSITION: Contract until December 2027
EXPERIENCE: 68 Years related working experience.
COMMENCEMENT: 01 May 2025
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 6 years worth of experience using Docker Python Linux (Ubuntu preferred)
- Rich experience with Container Orchestration Platforms e.g. Docker Compose
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Proven experience in automated testing using Python .NET and Angular.
- Proficiency in using Xray for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Experience with other testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit NUnit).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience with cloudbased testing environments.
ROLE:
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Python .NET and Angular.
- Utilize Xray for managing test cases executing tests and tracking defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct functional regression and performance testing to identify defects and ensure highquality software delivery.
- Analyze test results document findings and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior test analysts in best practices for automated testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in testing and quality assurance.
