Key Responsibilities:
- Service Optimization: Ensure maximum service availability and performance through proactive monitoring and swift resolution.
- JuniperCentric Network Services: Configure and maintain customer network services on Juniper core equipment.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to Engineering and other technical teams.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex IP network and VoIP issues leveraging Juniper solutions for efficient fault resolution.

- Juniper Experience: Handson experience with Juniper equipment and protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF MPLS). Juniper certifications (JNCIA JNCIS or JNCIP) are highly valued.
- Technical Prowess: Strong understanding of IP networking (layers 13 routing protocols and troubleshooting at carrier/enterprise levels.
- VoIP Expertise: Ability to analyze and resolve VoIP network issues including SIPlevel troubleshooting.

- Additional Networking Certifications:
- Cisco (CCNA CCNP CCIE) to complement multivendor experience.
Networking Skills:
- Expertise in Juniper equipment (MX EX SRX series) for routing switching and security.
- Indepth understanding of IP networking layers 13 and protocols like BGP OSPF ISIS MPLS and EVPN.
- Experience with WAN technologies including SDWAN.
- Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python Ansible NetConf).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for L2/L3 networking including VLANs VRFs and multicast.
- Experience with Junos OS and its CLI.
Security Expertise:
- Handson experience with Juniper firewalls (SRX series) and security policies.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec SSL VPN).
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot firewall policies NAT and intrusion prevention systems.
VoIP and SIP:
- Familiarity with VoIP network design and troubleshooting including SIP protocol debugging.
- Experience integrating and maintaining Juniper solutions in VoIP environments.
Network Monitoring and Tools:
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds Nagios Zabbix or Juniper HealthBot.
- Ability to design proactive monitoring for Juniper devices.
CarrierGrade Networking:
- Experience in service provider environments especially with highavailability and highthroughput demands.
- Expertise in QoS (Quality of Service) and traffic engineering.
- Knowledge of carriergrade NAT and loadbalancing solutions.

- 5 years in telecom or MSP environments managing largescale Juniper networks.
- Demonstrated experience in designing deploying and supporting complex Juniperbased networks.
Problem Solving:
- Strong diagnostic abilities especially for service providerlevel incidents.
- Ability to assess and escalate critical issues with clear action plans.
Project Management:
- Experience leading network upgrades migrations and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.

- Ability to train and mentor junior staff on Juniper solutions.
