Job Description
Your role as Supply Chain Waste Controller
- Supports Supply Chain Manager in leading the 3PL contract on recycling which is open book dedicated contract where risk and liabilities mainly sit with GK. Role is to maximise service challenge key areas ensuring aligned to GK strategic plans/projects & culture.
- Central lead in all GK trade waste recycling/management dealing with all service issues including legal complaints noise etc maintains recycling standards in the network and is central lead for all waste and recycling data
- Responsible for controlling costs within 3PL for waste disposal within the depots
- Management of trade waste management contract maximising KPIs and service to the pubs ensuring the provider works and achieves the parameters of the contract.
- Driving best practice in the pubs to improve the level and quality of recycling and maximising the commodity revenues through our broker
- Responsible for ensuring key events are successfully planned and delivered from a recycling perspective.
- Responsible for all brand swaps and investments ensuring they are setup for success from day 1 with recycling/support in place.
