Job Description

Join our team as a Farm Host (Guest Services Agent) and become one of the authors of our story.  As part of the Wildflower Farms family you will serve the needs of the business our guests and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding experience from checkin to checkout and at all times.

Ensure the guest experience meets or exceeds all Wildflower Farms quality and service standards from Checkin to Checkout. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Preparing all necessary registration documents such as guest itineraries welcome letters and waivers as well as any other item that may support efficient and timely checkin/out processes
  • Ensuring phone calls are answered greeted and routed per company standards
  • Ensuring that any Guest preferences (i.e. Bespoke Options and/or Experiences Room specifics) are recorded on the Opera guest history page and are well introduced to the appropriate departments for follow up
  • Escorting or providing efficient directions to property venues arranging onsite transportation
  • Responding promptly and tactfully to any Guest complaint that may arise
  • Ensuring correct billing arrangement is provided according to Front Desk policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that any irregularities and discrepancies are recorded in the departmental logbook and brought to the attention of the MOD and/or General Manager
  • Acting as an ambassador of the hotel by providing Guests any reservation information amenities area attractions spa and dining booking as needed
  • Organizing and maintaining the Front Desk counter ensuring that all materials and supplies are readily available and accessible to expedite smooth departmental out procedures
  • Becoming familiar with all Wildflower Farms facilities and have the ability to address assist and actively sell services to guests
  • Ensuring that an adequate amount of money either coins or notes is available during the shift so as to accommodate cash transactions
  • Maintaining excellent relationships within the Front Office Department and must familiarize oneself with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments

Rate: $20.00/hr


Qualifications :

  • Minimum of two years experience at a hotel
  • Professional appearance and manner good character to work on a fastpaced team
  • Able to work on a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays according to department needs
  • Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing with guests and employees some of whom will require high levels of patience tact and diplomacy to defuse issues and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
