Job Description
We are seeking a Header Cleaner with at least one year of shop experience to assist in the maintenance and cleaning of heat exchanger vessels and associated equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Vessel Cleaning & Surface Preparation
- Assist in cleaning heat exchanger vessels and associated equipment using hand tools brushes cleaning chemicals and specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper surface preparation by degreasing removing debris and prepping surfaces for inspection.
Safety Compliance & Equipment Maintenance
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
General Maintenance & Repairs
- Assist with the setup teardown and disassembly of vessels.
- Provide support during routine maintenance and inspections of heat exchanger systems.
- Assist with basic vessel repairs under the direction of maintenance technicians.
Waste Disposal & Documentation
- Safely dispose of waste debris and chemicals in accordance with company regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities.
