We have a permanent opportunity for an Emergency Medical Assistant to join our team in Waihi!
With a start date of midApril this is a 4 x 4 multiwatch roster alternating between days 0630 toto 2200 and nights 1830 to 0630.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at First Responder or EMT
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- New Zealand citizenship permanent residency or work visa
