Senior Test Automation Engineer

At PaperCut our Quality team enables Product teams across the business to maintain software quality through test automation DevOps practices and performance benchmarking. Reporting to our Quality Lead this role is fulltime hybrid and based in our Camberwell office three days per week. 

Some of the things youll do...

• Shape and implement PaperCuts test automation strategy identifying areas for improvement and selecting the right tools and frameworks.

• Develop test automation frameworks and staging environments working with Engineers to integrate automated testing into DevOps practices.

• Develop repeatable automated tests including endtoend integration canary and system regression tests ensuring ongoing software quality.

• Partner with Engineers and our Quality Lead to define and monitor performance load and scalability benchmarks for our products.

• Influence and uplift testing capabilities across PaperCut allowing Engineers to refine automated test suites themselves.

A little about you...

• You have experience in a similar role you are experienced designing and implementing test automation strategies that align with product roadmaps.

• Youre experienced in selecting test automation frameworks for SaaS environments.

• You have a background in writing automation tests across multiple layers including system integration load and regression testing.

• Youre passionate about coaching and up skilling Engineers in automation best practices to create a qualityfirst mindset.

• You love working in an Agile collaborative environment where quality is a shared responsibility.

• Youve had experience using testing automation tools such as Groovy Playwright and Typescript.
