Job Description
The Associate Buyer will directly support the purchasing function for our MATI division. In this role youll assist with all aspects of the sourcing and purchasing function. As a valuable buying team member you will help drive the import/export shipping processes including vendor selection order processing and shipment reconciliation. Youll also work crossfunctionally with Sales Marketing Logistics Demand Planning and Customer Service while ensuring timely delivery of our highquality products.
Pay Range $55450 $66550
Principle Responsibilities
- Participate in evaluating and selecting potential vendors by analyzing submitted quotes and stated capabilities.
- Study market trends and facilitate introductory conversations with potential vendors to narrow the search.
- Establish and maintain a Materials Master in SAP.
- Prepare and place purchase orders within the current vendor network.
- Review shipping processes and associated paperwork. Reconcile discrepancies with internal and external partners to create accurate shipping notifications.
- Maintain pertinent departmental records and files. Generate routine reports for leadership review.
- Assume special assignments as required.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software: Excel Word and Power Point.
- Analytical skills to understand the correlation among sales history market demand and forecast then make sound procurement decision.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree required.
- One year of intern experience preferred.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
