Job Description
Lumino Mount Eden is looking for a reliable 4 day a week dental assistant to join our closeknit team!
As a Dental Assistant you will support a highly experienced team of clinicians. You will be assisting them with diverse and interesting dental procedures during appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation infection control and also stock control. Not only will you be assisting with general dentistry you will also get the chance to assist in orthodontics. You will be required to help out at reception from time to time so being a people person with flexibility is essential.
The hours for the role are:
Week 1
- Monday 8am 5:30pm
- Tuesday 8am 5:30pm
- Thursday 8am 5:30pm
- Friday 8am 1:30pm (sometimes in Ponsonby)
Week 2
- Monday 8am 5:30pm
- Thursday 8am 5:30pm
- Friday 8am 1:30pm (sometimes in Ponsonby)
Our ideal candidate would have flexibility to work at our other location at Lumino Ponsonby with the dentist.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Previous experience as dental assistant
- Ideally sterilisation and/or customerfacing experience.
- Warm and positive attitude and teamorientated approach.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
- Excellent communication listening and interpersonal skills.
