JASARA PMC, a prominent player in the construction and project management industry, is looking for a Quality Manager to join our dedicated team. As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will be responsible for creating and implementing quality management strategies, performing audits, and collaborating with various teams to identify and rectify quality issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management within the construction sector and a proactive approach to ensuring quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processes for construction projects
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Analyze inspection reports and data to identify trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement
Provide training and support to project teams on quality assurance processes and best practices
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment on quality expectations
Manage the resolution of quality-related issues, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions
Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation
Develop QMS: Design, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all processes comply with industry standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or Six Sigma).
Audit and Improve: Conduct internal audits of the QMS to ensure compliance with quality standards, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Document Control: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and other documentation to ensure all quality procedures are properly recorded and followed.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant construction regulations
Proven experience in conducting audits and inspections effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Certifications in quality management or related fields are highly desired
. Quality Control and Assurance
Establish Quality Standards: Set quality benchmarks for products, services, and processes based on customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Inspect and Test: Implement inspection and testing procedures to monitor the quality of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of quality processes and product performance. Apply methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and minimize defects.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conformance issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate issues.
