Science Teacher (Stoke on Trent)
Position: Science Teacher
Location: Stoke on Trent
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: Competitive based on experience
About the Science TeacherRole
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at a wellestablished secondary school in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 4 and potentially 5 teaching a variety of science subjects including Biology Chemistry and Physics.
As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons supporting student development and contributing to the overall academic growth of the department. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you can share ideas and innovate in your teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver highquality science lessons across Key Stage 3 4 and 5.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities including science clubs and school events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and passion for science.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience as Science Teacherat secondary level.
