Senior Network Engineer
Location: 100 OnSite in Las Colinas / Irving TX
Position Type: DirectHire
Salary: 150170k annual plus 10 bonus
Residency Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship available.
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco and SpineLeaf architecture to lead the design deployment and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a handson network expert proficient in small to medium sized data center environments WAN technologies and network security capable of architecting reliable highperformance solutions.
- Architect and manage SpineLeaf networks using Cisco technologies ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain secure highperformance networks across multivendor platforms including firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinet) and WAN optimization tools.
- Collaborate with teams to align network solutions with business needs delivering reliable and secure services.
- Continuously monitor network performance identifying and resolving issues swiftly to maintain optimal uptime.
- Lead network security efforts including firewalls encryption and access controls.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to network evolution strategies.
- Provide documentation of network architecture policies and processes.
- Participate in an oncall rotation for network support.
- 6 years in network engineering with a focus on data centers and SpineLeaf architecture.
- Expertise with Cisco switching and routing technologies.
- Strong knowledge of eBGP iBGP OSPF and WAN technologies.
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinet) and Meraki cloudmanaged networks.
- Ability to manage largescale projects from planning to ensuring network performance and security.
- Network automation experience (Ansible Puppet Terraform) preferred.
- Certifications such as CCNA CCNP CCIE VCTANV.
- Experience with public cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiarity with networking for containerized environments (Docker Kubernetes).
