Job Description

Quaker Houghton is a global leader in industrial process fluids. We deliver a wide range of services in many business segments such as Aerospace Automotive & Metals. This position will be working at our Annesley site.

This role is key to ensure we continue to exceed customer expectations. Our customers success is our own.

Tasks

  • Perform a wide range of operational support activities at the site which includes control the optimal condition of Metal Working lubricants greases coolants cleaners and other Quaker Houghton industrial fluids used in the customers manufacturing process.
  • Analyse onsite equipment & products in order to decide the proper adjustments i.e. Servicing of coolant management as required. Communicate to customer the resulting information & recommendations.
  • Ensure all Quaker Houghton owned and loaned equipment are kept in suitable condition for the environment.
  • Manage and maintain high cleanliness standards and condition monitoring across the customer facility where our products operate.
  • Ensure that machines are tested in line with EHS guidelines and are free from any contamination & debris. Update machine charts for operator visibility and complete test data reports.
  • Ensure to comply with all applicable regulations and standards regarding quality safety environmental as well as the Quaker Houghton Lifesaving Rules and occupational health standards to minimize risks in these areas and to create opportunities and chances for improvement.
  • Perform daily/weekly safety checks of equipment and hazard observations.
  • Work as part of a team and to agreed working schedules.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Commercial team involved and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Preferably has knowledge of working in an Engineering environment.
  • Full Training will be provided

Benefits

Permanent contract

Day shift 39 hours per week

MonThu 7.00 to 3.00pm and Friday 7.00 2.00pm.
