Job Description
Great opportunity for a talented and experienced Head of Wholesale & Travel Design to join our team and take our shopinshop concepts to the next level globally.
You will lead a dynamic operational and creative team responsible for designing and implementing all our wholesale and travel locations worldwide. In this capacity also working closely with our WHS & Travel department suppliers and partners to ensure our stores are both functional and inspiring. You will be a key member of the Format & Design team shaping our shopinshop environments. On top of that you:
- Lead and mentor a team of 7 (Project Managers ShopinShop Design and (Maintenance) Coordinators) to design and implement innovative shopinshop designs.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to determine strategy and execute designs effectively.
- Translate strategy into annual/departmental plans and ensure their realization to drive profitability development and longterm growth.
- Manage large fastpaced projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Plan and manage budgets.
- Ensure customerfocused design decisions that contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications :
High on energy low on ego and with a little bit of humour. We need a motivated and skilled manager who can provide both strategic and operational direction for our Wholesale & Travel designs. You are a designer and builder with a commercial mindset conceptual thinking ability and an entrepreneurial spirit. With your relevant experience you can generate ideas and expand our companys reach. You are a team player with a handson mentality and a pragmatic approach. Your creativity technical skills and strong communication abilities help you connect people both internally and externally. You strive for excellence in your field think outside the box and value collaboration. In addition you have:
- At least 5 years of (visual merchandising) experience in a similar role within the retail or design sector.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management and budget management.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and (building) technologies in store design.
- Residency in the Netherlands and are okay to come to the office most of the time.
