WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an ambitious resultsdriven Senior Sales Manager to help launch and grow a brandnew B2B event. Working closely with the Senior Portfolio Director youll drive revenue build industry relationships and establish the event as a mustattend gathering.

This is more than just a launch were looking for someone with the vision and ability to grow with the event taking on greater responsibility as it scales. Youll have full support but we need a proactive commercially minded professional ready to make a real impact.

THE ROLE:

Work alongside the Senior Portfolio Director to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives exhibitor and sponsorship revenue.

Identify and develop new business opportunities building and managing a strong pipeline of potential exhibitors and sponsors.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders decisionmakers and existing clients to drive longterm revenue growth.

Drive lead generation outbound prospecting and followups to ensure revenue targets are achieved.

Conduct client meetings presentations and negotiations to secure highvalue partnerships.

Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with event positioning visitor acquisition and overall business objectives.

Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and postsale relationship management.

Keep up to date with industry trends competitors and market developments to identify potential growth areas.

Attend relevant industry events networking opportunities and competitor shows to develop new business leads.

Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to senior management offering insights and recommendations for revenue growth.

ABOUT YOU:

Proven experience in event sales ideally within B2B exhibitions conferences or media.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute a successful sales strategy.

A track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Ability to sell across multiple revenue streams including exhibition stands sponsorship and digital opportunities.

Confident in lead generation prospecting and business development.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deals at different stages of the sales cycle.

Datadriven mindset with experience in CRM and sales pipeline management.

Nice to Have

Experience using CRM and sales automation tools such as Salesforce.

Experience selling into the technology or innovation sectors.

Existing network of contacts within the target industry.

Experience working with Clevel and senior decisionmakers.
