A highly respected Independent school in Barnet is seeking an English Teacher to join their successful Humanities department. This fulltime permanent role is available immediately offering an opportunity to teach English up to KS5 fostering literary analysis creative writing and language development among students.

Responsibilities
- Teach English across KS3 KS4 and KS5 engaging students in literary discussion and analysis
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel exams ensuring outstanding academic achievement
- Encourage students to explore classic and contemporary literature in depth
- Work collaboratively to enhance the English curriculum with dynamic researchbased approaches
- Support extracurricular activities such as debate clubs literary festivals and creative writing workshops
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in English Literature Creative Writing or a related field
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching English up to KS5
