Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to lead the development of our backend systems including APIs and internal admin tools. This role ensures that our platform remains scalable userfriendly and efficient for players coaches and managers.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain scalable APIs to support web & mobile applications.
Develop and enhance admin/managerfacing tools for content management and user oversight.
Ensure database integrity & performance optimization.
Manage background processing using Sidekiq for notifications analytics and data updates.
Integrate AWS services for email delivery hosting and media storage.
Work closely with mobile developers to ensure smooth API integration.
Maintain code quality testing and security standards.
Requirements
6 years experience with Ruby on Rails MySQL Redis Sidekiq.
Experience in admin dashboard development & data reporting tools.
Ability to analyze & optimize SQL queries for performance.
Experience with AWS services (SES EB EC2 RDS S3
Strong problemsolving skills and debugging abilities.
