Senior Marine Superintendent
(Based in Mumbai India)
ORGANIZATION:
You will be incharge of the operations and performance of assigned vessels. Your key role is to ensure efficient and safe operations of the company s vessels quality management and that all international marine requirements are adhered to.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Vessel operations
- Health Safety and Environment Compliance
- Resources allocation and planning
- Voyage optimization
- Relationship management
Requirements
- You must be a qualified Master; a degree in business or any related discipline will be an added advantage.
- At least one year as a Master on geared Dry Bulk carriers
- At least three to five years of experience as Marine Superintendent focused on Dry Bulk carriers
- Experience of RightShip and managing PSC issues related to PSC detentions and precautions are required
- Proficient in Shipboard ISM/ISPS code Marine Insurance and Seamanship
- People oriented and passionate about developing shipboard teams
- Highly analytical with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively with any stakeholder.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Well updated with the latest regulatory requirements and its implementation.
