Heres what its all about

Oatly is growing and we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Market Manager to support our Europe & International Markets. You will be responsible of daytoday support to our business revising product composition labelling and other commercial materials. Another important task is to keep the organization updated on the changes occurred in this geographical area and answer to customers or authorities inquiries.

In this role you will work close to other departments such as Innovation Creatives and our Commercial organization.

Heres what you will do:
  • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a regulatory network in the assigned markets and be on the top of the latest food regulatory developments.
  • Support Innovation and TPM organizations with new innovations and lifecycle project securing product compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure recipe and labelling/stickering compliance in the assigned markets.
  • Carry out all operational regulatory tasks related to placing Oatly products on the markets including authority registration/notification if applicable.
  • Be the contact point for local authorities and certification bodies.
  • Support the local organization during authorities and organic certifications audits.
  • Validate communication materials such as point of sale or online advertising.
  • Represent Oatly in external meetings/conferences when regulatory expertise is needed.

In this role you will report to the Global Director Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability Compliance. The position is placed in Malm Sweden.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE

Besides having an analytic mindset and a keen eye for detail we also believe that you are a genuine teamplayer that welcomes ambiguity as an opportunity to move forward and is comfortable with change. Collaboration is in your nature; you dare to try different things but are also happy to admit failure and learn more. You have great communication skills and easily establish relations with colleagues and stakeholders at any level.

Other key competencies & experiences:
  • Bachelors or masters within food quality/food safety or law school with food as master.
  • 5 years of experience in a food regulatory and compliance role.
  • Knowledge of European food law and Codex Alimentarius and ability to investigate and navigate complex topics.
  • It is a huge merit to have experience working with countries outside the EU (MEA Countries)
  • Experience in performing horizon scanning and share the knowledge in the organization.
  • Ability to engage with national authorities.
  • Presentation precision and analytical skills.
  • As we act in a truly global setting your communication skills in English must be excellent both verbally and in writing.
