Do you want to join our team In this role youll play a key part in shaping and executing our assortment strategy to drive KoRos growth and success. Youll collaborate closely with various departments to optimize our product selection refine pricing strategies and expand our market presence.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive assortment strategy to drive growth in the retail channel.
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing Supply Chain and Finance to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing category success.
- Conduct indepth market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
- Monitor KPIs such as sellthrough rates revenue growth and margin performance adjusting strategies as needed.
- CoDevelop endtoend product lifecycle from selection and introduction to phaseout strategies.
- Drive crossfunctional projects to enhance operational efficiency and category performance.
Your profile
- Min. Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5 years of experience in Category Management Buying or Merchandising within the FMCG or retail sector.
- Experience working with retail partners wholesalers and distributors.
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- You live in Berlin or are open for a relocation for your new position.
- Proven ability to analyze data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
- Strong understanding of assortment planning pricing strategies and supplier negotiations.
- Experience with Nielsen Data.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel BI tools and ERP systems (Tableau SAP or similar preferred).
- Highly analytical detailoriented and commercially driven mindset.
