Job Description
Job Title: 3G MIG Welder (UTurn)
Location: Singapore
Experience: 13 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform 3G MIG welding on metal components as per blueprints and technical specifications.
- Prepare materials by cutting grinding and fitting before welding.
- Set up welding machines and adjust parameters for different metals and thicknesses.
- Conduct quality inspections on welded joints to ensure durability and accuracy.
- Follow welding procedures industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Work with structural steel pipes and other metal components as required.
- Operate grinders torches and cutting tools for preweld and postweld processes.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on welding equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers fabricators and team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certification in MIG Welding / 3G Welding from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with Mild Steel Stainless Steel or Aluminum welding.
- Knowledge of welding codes symbols and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with welding techniques such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and fluxcored arc welding (FCAW).
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in 3G MIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience in machine setup calibration and troubleshooting.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in hightemperature environments.
- Attention to detail and high precision welding skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teamoriented environments.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following best practices.
