Real Estate Paralegal Hospitality & Leisure
Location: Chicago New York Phoenix or Washington DC (Hybrid)
Salary: $100000 $130000 Discretionary Bonus
Our client a prestigious Am Law 100 firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their Hospitality & Leisure practice group. This fulltime role is available in the firms Chicago New York Phoenix or Washington DC offices and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The selected candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys within the practice group reporting directly to the Practice Group Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and coordinate real estate due diligence including reviewing title commitments surveys zoning reports and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents.
- Manage and coordinate the closing process for complex real estate transactions including acquisitions dispositions financings debt and equity transactions.
- Handle the creation and management of signature page packages ensuring all required documents are delivered at closing and compiling detailed closing books.
- Prepare and file UCC financing statements as well as order and analyze related searches.
- Oversee entity formation and maintenance including filing and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and assemble officers certificates resolutions organizational documents and other closing deliverables.
- Conduct legal and factual research assist with filings and support attorneys with special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of real estate experience preferably within a law firm inhouse legal department or title company.
- Strong background in large and sophisticated real estate transactions with expertise in titles surveys and financing matters.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong client service and communication skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in highpressure environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
