Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible experienced and detailoriented House Manager to oversee daily household operations ensuring that the home runs smoothly and efficiently for a private home in MuscatOman. The House Manager will be responsible for managing household staff overseeing cleaning organizing maintenance and other essential services to maintain the home s comfort and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Medication and Health Monitoring:
- Provide medication reminders and assist with the administration of prescribed medications.
- Perform daily health checks including taking blood pressure and sugar tests as per the doctor s instructions.
- Maintain organized records of medication schedules and health data.
- Ensure medication is stored correctly and safely.
House Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Supervise and perform regular cleaning tasks including dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure deep cleaning of highuse areas like kitchens bathrooms and bedrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas including common spaces guest rooms and private areas.
- Organize and declutter spaces to improve functionality and enhance the home s overall atmosphere.
- Coordinate regular maintenance schedules for appliances plumbing and other household items.
- Oversee minor repairs or coordinate with contractors for larger maintenance work.
Laundry and Wardrobe Management:
- Wash dry and iron clothing and linens ensuring proper care is given to delicate fabrics.
- Organize and store clothing and linens neatly ensuring items are easy to find and access.
- Maintain a wellorganized laundry area and keep track of any special clothing or fabric needs.
Grocery Shopping and Kitchen Management:
- Plan and manage grocery shopping keeping inventory of household supplies and food items.
- Ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary items and that food preparation areas remain clean and organized.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation as needed.
- Ensure proper storage of perishable and nonperishable items.
Staff Management and Coordination:
- Supervise and manage other household staff including cleaners gardeners or drivers.
- Create and maintain work schedules for the staff ensuring coverage for all household duties.
- Train and guide staff in proper housekeeping and maintenance practices.
- Conduct performance evaluations and offer feedback to household staff.
Event Planning and Guest Management:
- Assist with planning and coordinating small events or gatherings within the household.
- Prepare rooms and facilities for guests ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Oversee guest needs and coordinate with other services to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Administrative Tasks and Budgeting:
- Keep track of household budgets for groceries maintenance and other expenses.
- Prepare and submit expense reports and ensure the budget is adhered to.
- Manage and maintain household records including inventories maintenance logs and health records.
- Handle any correspondence or appointments related to household affairs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a House Manager Housekeeper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of household management cleaning and maintenance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards.
- Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic cooking and meal preparation skills are a plus.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive household matters.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Fulltime position with flexible hours.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work based on household needs.
- Ability to manage and handle household operations independently.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: 150 to 200 OMR Visa Food Accommodation Transport when needed
